Cocaine bear

Cocaine Bear is a reference to an infamous event that occurred in 1985, in which a black bear in Georgia, USA, consumed large quantities of cocaine that had been dropped from a drug smuggler's airplane. The bear, which became known as the "Cocaine Bear," died as a result of the overdose.

The incident began when a drug smuggler named Andrew Thornton died while parachuting from a plane over Georgia with a duffel bag containing 40 kilograms (about 88 pounds) of cocaine. The bag was found on the ground by a bear and the bear consumed the cocaine, causing a fatal overdose.

The story of the Cocaine Bear has since become a popular cultural reference, and the bear's story has been featured in several books, podcasts, and other media. In recent years, a movie has been announced about the Cocaine Bear, with Elizabeth Banks directing and Margot Robbie starring
